Serious Assault at The Station Hotel in Swansea: Appeal for Witnesses
A 64-year-old man from Swansea is currently in hospital in a serious condition after an alleged assault took place on Saturday evening at The Station Hotel in the Gorseinon area of Swansea. South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward to assist in their investigation.
The police confirmed that a local man was taken to Morriston hospital following the incident and two individuals have been arrested in connection with the assault. Detective Inspector Dai Butt described the assault as very serious and urged anyone with information, no matter how small, to contact the police.
A 39-year-old man from Swansea has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in custody at Swansea Central police station. Additionally, a 54-year-old woman from Swansea has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
