NFL Player Tank Dell Injured in Florida Nightclub Shooting – Houston Texans Wide Receiver Recovering After Mass Shooting Incident

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was injured in a nightclub shooting in Florida over the weekend, where a teen allegedly shot 10 people, including Dell. The incident took place at Cabana Live nightclub and restaurant in Sanford, Florida, leaving several people injured.

Dell, who was an innocent bystander in the shooting, received minor injuries but is expected to make a full recovery. The Texans released a statement confirming Dell’s involvement in the incident and stating that he has been released from the hospital and is in good spirits.

The shooter, identified as 16-year-old Christopher Bouie, is facing multiple charges including possession of a firearm by a minor, use and display of a firearm during a felony, firing a weapon on public property, and attempted homicide. The incident reportedly started as a verbal argument that escalated into violence.

Despite the traumatic experience, Dell had been off the field recovering from a broken fibula and has since made a full recovery. He has been participating in the team’s off-season conditioning program and is said to be in good shape.

The venue where the shooting took place, Cabana Live, released a statement on Facebook expressing cooperation with authorities and concern for those involved in the incident. A security guard was able to stop the shooter and disarm him shortly after the incident began.
