Featured Image and Tragic Incident in Beaver County: Child Flown to Hospital After Near Drowning

Tragedy struck in Beaver County as a young child was flown to the hospital after nearly drowning in a river on Tuesday evening. While the child was not named in the initial report from the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office, social media posts have identified him as Levi Wright, the son of rodeo stars Spencer and Kallie Wright.

Heartbreaking news came Wednesday morning when a post on Spencer Wright’s Facebook page indicated that Levi is not expected to survive. The post, made by Mindy Sue Clark on behalf of the Wrights, expressed the family’s love for Levi and their difficult decision to let him go peacefully.

The incident occurred when dispatchers received a call reporting that a child had driven a toy tractor into the water and was no longer visible. Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office, Utah Highway Patrol, and Beaver County Search and Rescue. The child was quickly located and lifesaving measures were administered before being transported to Beaver Valley Hospital and later airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Friends and family of the Wrights, including their extended rodeo family, have been rallying support and prayers for Levi during this difficult time. The community is urged to give the family space as they navigate through this heartbreaking situation.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Levi Wright and his family during this challenging time.
