Person Rushed to Hospital After Collision at Elephant and Castle: Updates and Details

A person has been rushed to the hospital following a collision at Elephant and Castle. The incident occurred at the junction of Elephant And Castle and New Kent Road at around 12:35 pm today. Emergency services quickly responded to reports of the collision and found the victim, who was then transported to the hospital.

According to the Met Police, the collision involved a van and a bike, but fortunately, the victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. The road has since reopened, but MyLondon is awaiting an update on the victim’s condition.

The London Ambulance Service confirmed their response to the incident, stating that they treated the patient at the scene before transferring them to the hospital for further care.

Elephant and Castle is a busy meeting point, with a history of accidents between motorists and cyclists. City AM reported 80 accidents between motorists and cyclists at this junction between 2009 and 2013.
