Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heatstroke while attending an IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The incident occurred during the first playoff match of the ongoing season of IPL.
According to reports from PTI, Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to the multi-speciality K D Hospital in Ahmedabad. His wife Gauri Khan, along with co-owners of KKR, actor Juhi Chawla, and businessman Jay Mehta, visited him at the hospital. Videos of their visit to Shah Rukh Khan are circulating online.
The actor was accompanied by his children AbRam and Suhana at the match, where actors Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor were also present. The match took place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
After KKR’s victory against SRH, Shah Rukh Khan and his family took a victory lap in the stadium. However, a video surfaced showing Shah Rukh unintentionally interrupting a post-match show being shot on the field. Despite his excitement, he quickly apologized for the interruption.
Shah Rukh Khan had a successful year in 2023 with hit films like “Pathaan” and “Jawan,” and the release of “Dunki.” He was set to start filming his next project “King” with daughter Suhana Khan earlier this year, where he would be playing an “age-appropriate” role.
